1. Pursuant to an order dated 19th January, 2026 the CESC Limited has filed a Report. It appears from the Report that on the terms and conditions contained in Report dated 31st January, 2026 the CESC Limited is ready and willing to provide a new service connection and a block meter at the premises of the petitioners.

2. In view of the Report filed on behalf of the CESC Limited, WPA/836/2026 stands disposed of by directing the petitioners to construct a standard meter room as well as comply with all other formalities including payment of any fee for obtaining a new service connection and block meter. If such formalities are complied with, the

petitioners are directed to indicate the same to the CESC Limited who will then ensure a new service connection and a block meter at the premises of the petitioners in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of such communication.
