Affidavit-of-service and supplementary affidavit filed by the petitioner be kept with the record.
A copy of the supplementary affidavit be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the State.
It is reflected in the supplementary affidavit that incidents of certain violence took place and the son of the petitioner was assaulted. There are injury report which has been enclosed in the supplementary affidavit.
Learned advocate for the State submits that the injury report is of 13.01.2025. Information was furnished to the police station on 14.01.2025 and accordingly Jibantala Police Station Case No.27/2025
dated 14.01.2025 has been registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of BNS. Report also reflects that a counter case has also been filed at the instance of one Bharati Haldar being Jibantala Police Station Case No.28 of 2025.
Be that as it may, since the investigation has commenced in both the cases, the police authorities would take the investigation of the cases to its logical conclusion by putting in their efforts.
In view of the case and the counter case, the police authorities are directed to keep a strict vigil and to ensure that no breach of the peace takes place and/or any other further incident results because of the inimical relationship existing between the parties. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 616 of 2025 is disposed of.
There will be no order as to costs.
Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.
A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
