Maiti ...for the respondent nos. 10, 11, 12 and 15 The petitioner has obtained a decree in a civil suit being T.S. No. 54 of 1973 from the learned Court of 3rd Munsef at Medinipur against the private respondents.

The appeal against the said decree has been dismissed.

The petitioner complains that notwithstanding the said decree, the private respondents continue to interfere with his land and pond thereat.

The petitioner may seek execution of the decree in question and/or may seek additional civil

or statutory remedies in this regard before the appropriate forum.

The Pingla Police Station, Paschim Medinipur has filed a report dated 28.03.2023, indicating that there are civil dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents with regard to the land in question. There is some dispute as to whether the water body in question claimed by the petitioner has vested with the Government.

Be that as it may, the Pingla Police shall, however, ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace in the area.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

The report of the Pingla Police Station dated 28.03.2023 is kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
