Mukherjee, learned Public Prosecutor Mr. Aniket Mitra ....for the State The neighbours of the victim recording statements under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure squarely implicates all the petitioners in the incident of torture leading to her committing suicide.

The death occurred within eight months of marriage. The allegations against the petitioners cannot be said to be omnibus and general in nature.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 103 of 2023 is dismissed.
