Ms. Sipra Majumdar, Ms. Sangita Roy ... for the State The petitioner is a primary school teacher. He made an application for being transferred to a school in the vicinity of his residential area at Adra. The petitioner submits that the representation dated 2nd December, 2021 is pending consideration before the Chairman, District Primary School Council, Purulia.

Learned advocate representing the Council submits, upon instruction, that no prayer has been received from the end of the petitioner praying for transfer.

In view of the submissions made on behalf of both the parties leave is granted to the petitioner to make a fresh application before the Chairman, District

Primary School Council, Purulia highlighting his grievances.

In the event, representation is made by the petitioner annexing supporting documents then the same shall be considered by the respondent No. 2, the Chairman, Purulia District Primary School Council, strictly in accordance with law, at the earliest, but positively within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the representation.

The aforesaid respondent shall afford an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, if required, prior to passing any order in the matter.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on completion of usual formalities.
