The present appeal has been preferred against an ex parte decree of divorce.

As per the report of the Additional Stamp Reporter dated September 18, 2017, the learned Advocate for the appellant may be required to rectify the classification of the appeal so as to enable the office to categorize it as a regular First Appeal.

However, we find from the Memorandum of Appeal that the same carries no mistake, as it has been properly captioned as a Memorandum of Appeal from original decree.

Accordingly, such report, to that extent, be ignored. 5.

The office shall immediately take steps for classifying the present appeal as a regular First Appeal and allot an F.A.T number thereto.

Such exercise shall be carried out by the office within a fortnight from date.

The connected application be listed next on February 12, 2025.
