Petitioner is in custody for over 200 days. He contends there is no direct evidence connecting him with the offence of dacoity or murder. T. I. Parade with regard to stolen articles recovered from him was not done. Accordingly, he prays for bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the bail prayer.

We have considered the materials on record.

Motorcycles used in the course of dacoity were recovered from the petitioner. Stolen articles have also been recovered from him. Case has been committed to the Court of Sessions.

In view of gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of petitioner is rejected.
