1. Status report filed by the State be kept with the records.

2. We see from the case diary that there are statements of witnesses including eyewitnesses recorded under Section 161 of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973, implicating this petitioner as having participated in the alleged offence. We also see that the offending weapons were recovered on the basis of leading statement made by the petitioner.

3. It cannot be said that there is any inordinate delay in the progress of the trial.

4. In view of prima facie incriminating material against this petitioner, we are not inclined to entertain the petitioner's prayer for bail, at this stage. The prayer for bail is rejected.

5. The application being CRM (DB) 171 of 2025 is accordingly dismissed.
