We have elaborately heard the learned advocate for the appellant, who was nominated by the High Court Legal Service Committee.

The learned advocate for the appellant sought permission for her client to enable herself to make submission and she has made elaborate submission. We have heard the learned advocate for the official respondent and the learned advocate for the respondent nos.8 and and also perused the report dated 14.05.2024 along with annexures filed by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Belghoria, Barrackpore Police Commissionerate. We find that the order and direction issued by the learned Single Bench dated 25th April, 2023 is just and proper and the direction issued therein to escort the appellant back to her house is sufficient to protect the interest of the appellant. The appellant has also initiated

criminal proceeding against certain private parties and it is open to the appellant to pursue the said matter.

Learned advocate appearing for the respondent nos.8 and 9 on instruction from his clients submitted that his clients have not interfered with and will not interfere with in any manner whatsoever with the appellant.

This submission made on behalf of the respondent nos.8 and 9 is placed on record.

With the aforesaid observation, the appeal and the connected application are disposed of.
