The report of the Block Development Officer is taken on record.

It indicates that the Executive Assistant, Satjelia Gram Panchayat informed the Block Development Officer by a letter dated November 4, 2022, that no construction had been raised by the respondent nos. 8 and 9 on Plot Nos. 318 and 322 of Mouza - Dayapur, J.L. No. 046, pertaining to Khatian No. 2/1 and 917. The letter also indicates that no permission had also been granted by the concerned authority for any construction.

Under such circumstances, nothing further remains to be decided in the writ petition.

It is expected that the authority will act and proceed in accordance with law. In case any violation of the Panchayat Act is detected at a future date, the authorities shall take appropriate steps.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
