Apprehending arrest in connection with Sankrail P.S. Case No. 753 of 2020 dated 27.08.2020 under Sections 409/465/468/469/471/473/484/120B of the Indian Penal Code, the present application has been preferred. Mr. Chatterjee, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated. No overt act has been attributed to the petitioner. The petitioner's daughter, against whom there were similar allegations, has already been granted anticipatory bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court. In the said conspectus, custodial detention of the petitioner is not warranted. Mr. Ganguli, learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the petitioner's prayer and draws our attention to

several documents in the case diary including the resolution of the Managing Committee of the concerned school dated 2nd July, 2020.

Having heard the learned advocates and considering the materials in the case diary, the nature of allegations and the extent of complicity of the petitioner in the alleged offence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The application for anticipatory bail, being CRM 269 of 2021 is, thus, dismissed.
