This revisional application has been preferred for expeditious disposal of G.R. Case No.1085 of 2014 under Sections 498A and 325 of the Indian Penal Code pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Court, Barasat.

It appears from record that on the basis of the investigation charge-sheet was submitted before the trial court on August 21, 2014 and it further appears that lastly on April 19, 2021 was fixed for evidence.

In view of the above, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Court, Barasat is hereby requested to dispose of G.R. Case No.1085 of 2014 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of the order, if it has not already been disposed of and in that event, he is to take recourse under Section 309 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Let a copy of this order be sent to the court below at once. CRR 9 of 2020 is, accordingly, disposed of.
