Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today is taken on record.

In spite of service, none appears on behalf of the school authority as well as the State-respondents.

The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher. The petitioner had applied for general transfer on distance ground. 4.

Such application has been pending since November, 2025. The school authority has not taken any decision in the matter.

The Head of the institution namely, Sastitala Madhyamik Vidyalaya (HS), (respondent no. 6) is directed to dispose of the application of the petitioner by May 30, 2026 in accordance with law.

If found eligible, the case of the petitioner shall be forwarded to the concerned District Inspector of Schools (SE) by the school authorities along with the application and the requisite 'No Objection' certificate by June 30, 2026.

Temporary suspension of the 'UTSASHREE' portal will not be an impediment for the concerned authority to consider the application for transfer of the petitioner. The same shall be considered in an Offline mode.

With the afore-stated directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
