Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today is taken on record.

In spite of service, none appears on behalf of the school authority.

The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher. The petitioner has applied for transfer from the school, for which the school had duly issued 'No Objection' certificate.

The transfer was sought on the self medical ground of the petitioner. The petitioner has also gone through the two-tier medical examination, first by the school and then by the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Malda.

The respondent no.4 had thereafter forwarded the recommendation to the respondent no.3 sometime in the year 2021. It appears from the records that the respondent no.3 has not disposed of such application which is pending since 2021. 6.

The Secretary, West Bengal Central School Service Commission (respondent no. 3) or any appropriate authority is

directed to consider the case of the petitioner and dispose of the same by June 15, 2026. The Commission will recommend the transfer of the petitioner to a school of his choice, provided such school is not notified for any other competitive examinations. 7.

With the afore-stated directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
