Halder, Mr. Indranil Halder ...for the Petitioners Mr. Suman Ghosh ...for CESC 28-04-2025 AKG Ct. 15 The petitioners seek an electricity connection for a G+3 storied building situated at premises no. 137/2/H/1, Narkeldanga Main Road, Kolkata - 700011. The petitioners claim to be the promoters of the said building. The Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation Limited (CESC) submits that, in response to the petitioners' applications, certain documents were asked for in the year 2004. However, the petitioners have failed to produce the requisite documents. Consequently, their applications could not be processed.

In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioners to submit the relevant documents, as specified in the letter dated May 29, 2024, issued by the Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation Limited, within a period of two weeks from the date of this order. Upon receipt of such documents, the Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation Limited shall take an appropriate decision on the petitioners' applications within a period of

one month thereafter.

Accordingly, WPA 658 of 2025 is disposed of.

Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
