Report has been filed by the Kolkata Municipal Corporation wherefrom it appears that a spot inspection was conducted on 16th February, 2024 in the presence of the petitioner and it was revealed that the petitioner only removed the wooden shuttering with reinforcement in the 5th floor level.

No demolition work of the unauthorized construction has been executed either by the owner or by the petitioner.

The Kolkata Municipal Corporation shall take steps in the matter in accordance with law to deal with the unauthorized construction which still remain at the subject premises at the earliest.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
