Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 10 months and after 18 years of marriage, the petitioner has been foisted with the present case for commission of alleged strangulation of his wife. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that there is only one sole accused in the present case. There are overwhelming materials according to the State.

I have considered the case diary. CSW 5 and 6 are the vital witnesses in the present case. Having regard to the manner in which the offence has been committed, I am of the opinion that the petitioner be well advised to renew his prayer for bail after the evidence of CSW 5 and 6 is over. At this stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, CRM (M) 122 of 2026 is dismissed. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
