As none appears on behalf of the State, Mr.

Abdus Salam, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears for the State, is directed to represent the State. His appointment may be regularised by the concerned authorities.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is directed to hand over a copy of the writ petition to learned advocate appearing for the State.

The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that as the representation which was made to the police authorities being the Officer-in-Charge, Patashpur Police Station on or about 20.12.2022 was not addressed. To that effect, petitioner also filed an application under Section 144(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The main grievance of the petitioner relates to possession in respect of the property referred to in the writ petition as also the crops which are being taken away after the petitioner cultivated the land and to that effect,

there was abuse and threatening at the behest of the private respondents.

Having regard to the fact that the representation was made on 20.12.2022, I direct that if the petitioner faces the same inconvenience, he would inform the concerned police station afresh. The police authorities would consider such representation in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 628 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
