The petitioner prefers the present revisional application for expeditious disposal of G.R. Case No. 2083 of 2005 arising out of Chitpur Police Station Case No. 221 dated 02.02.2005. The petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this revisional application upon Mr. Anand Keshari, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears for the State. His appointment may be regularised by the concerned authorities.

The petitioner submits that the accused are unnecessarily stretching the trial of the case and the next date has been fixed on 22.11.2023.

In view of the apprehension and anxiety expressed by the petitioner, I find that the same is justified. The learned Judicial Magistrate, 3rd Court, Sealdah is directed that in case the D.W. is not completed on 22.11.2023, learned court within a month would fix dates at short intervals for concluding the defence evidence. The final argument be heard out in the month of January 2024. The verdict of the case be pronounced by 15.03.2024.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 96 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
