04.02.2026 Ct. No. 28 Sl. No.41 akd [ALLOWED] C. R. M. (A) 160 of 2026 In Re: An application for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 filed on 08.01.2026 in connection with Narendrapur Police Station Case No.1581 of 2025 dated 23.12.2025 under Sections 318(4)/316(2)/303(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. (G.R. Case No. 9565 of 2025) And In Re: Titas Das ... ... Petitioner Mr. Diptangshu Basu ... ... for the petitioner Mr. Arindam Sen Ms. Suruchi Saha ... ... for the State 1.

Heard the learned counsels for the parties.

2.

Perused the case diary.

3.

The prime allegation is that the petitioner as a Customer Care Executive of the de-facto complainant concerned, did not submit Rs.40,000/- before the concern as three days' collection and left the job. There is nothing available in the case diary to indicate that she had received such sum herself from any one.

4.

Considering the above and the other materials available in the case diary, I do not think that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is required in this case and I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.

In the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only), with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 and on further condition that the petitioner shall

cooperate with investigation. She shall not threaten and/or intimidate witnesses.

6.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, allowed. 7.

Urgent Photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all formalities. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
