By this writ petition petitioner has challenged the impugned order of transfer of Income Tax file of the petitioner under Section 127 of the Income Tax Act 1961 from Kolkata to Raipur.

Petitioner alleges that no copy of the order of transfer has been uploaded till date. Petitioner further submits that in response to the show-cause notice it has already responded but it could not participate in the hearing and it came to know the order of transfer from the official portal of the departments that it's jurisdiction has been transferred.

Learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that the jurisdiction of the petitioner has already been transferred.

Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and submission of the parties I am not inclined to grant any relief in this petition except granting liberty to the petitioner to file reply to the impugned order of transfer by treating the same as a show-cause within a period of two weeks from date and respondent authority concerned shall consider the same in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of such objection and if petitioner is able to make out a case in his favour and against the impugned order of transfer, the authority concerned shall recall its impugned order.

With this observation and direction this writ petition being WPA 572 of 2024 is disposed of. (Md. Nizamuddin, J.)
