The petitioners are accused persons in connection with Belda Police Station Case No.345 of 2017 corresponding to G.R. Case No.4262 of 2017 under Sections 498A/323/506/354/34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. By filing the instant revision petitioners have prayed for quashing of the aforesaid case against the petitioners. It is found from the certified copy of the order sheet that in G.R. 4262 of 2017 charge has already been framed against the accused persons on 8th February, 2021 and trial of the case has already commenced. During Covid Pandemic, no witness was present. On 3rd

September, 2022, one witness on behalf of the prosecution was present, but the said witness was not examined due to the adjournment taken by the accused/petitioners.

Therefore, at this stage, the criminal proceeding cannot be quashed.

The revision is summarily dismissed.
