Mr. Arindam Ghosh .... Petitioner no.2 appearing in person Mr. S.K. Ray .... For respondent nos.1 and 2 Petitioner no.2 appears in person and submits, pursuant to order dated 19th March, 2020, made on moving the petition, construction work was stopped. Mr. Ray, learned advocate appears on behalf of Kamarhati Municipality and submits, demolition proceeding has been initiated regarding unauthorized construction on existing roof, made by private respondents.

It is expected that the Municipality will cause the proceeding to culminate in a decision. The demolition proceeding should be concluded within six weeks from date of communication of this order. In event decision taken is not for demolition, reasons must be given and made known to petitioners. On the other hand, demolition order, if passed, must be executed forthwith thereafter.

On record in of order dated 19th March, 2020 and directions made today the writ petition is disposed of. (ARINDAM SINHA, J.)
