Mr. Kanak Kiran Bandyopadhyay ...for the petitioner Mr. Ratul Biswas Mr. Kaushik Chowdhury ...for the Board The petitioner has lost his admit card which was issued to him by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education in respect of recruitment process of 2012. One phase of the recruitment procedure this year is going to be held on 14th January, 2023 and as the petitioner has lost his admit card, he will not be allowed to face the interview board.

Learned advocate for the Board submits that when he has lost his admit card, he should come with one duly affirmed affidavit authenticated by the First Class Magistrate or any Metropolitan Magistrate with the particulars that he had one admit card which he lost in 2016 and that he is one and same person is also to be mentioned in the said affidavit. The petitioner has been found an eligible candidate for school and he has been called for the interview by the Board to be held on 14.01.2023.

Considering the balance of convenience and inconvenience I direct the Board to allow the petitioner

in the interview to be held on 14th January, 2023 even if he does not come up with such an affidavit on the particular date. But unless the petitioner submits such an affidavit by ten days thereafter his candidature shall be treated as cancelled.
