Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that proper sections have not been incorporated although Purbasthali PS Case No. 408/2024 dated 13.12.2024 was registered for investigation.
Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the accused persons in the said case are threatening the petitioner to withdraw the case also and there has been immense torture/pressure/harassment at the behest of the accused persons.
Petitioner therefore prays for protection which according to the petitioner police authorities in spite of being informed did not render.
Learned advocate appearing for the state submits a report. Report reflects that there are case
and counter cases.
Purbasthali PS Case No.
408/2024 was initiated at the instance of the present petitioner while another case being Purbasthali PS Case No. 16/2025 was registered for investigation on the basis of one Bakul Debnath against the present petitioner.
Report reflects that the petitioner and the said Bakul Debnath are related to each other who are at loggerhead.
Having regard to the fact that the petitioner feels insecure and there are other cases also inter se the family members, police authorities would keep a strict vigil and would ensure that further breach of the peace do not take place or any further untoward incident do not result because of the strained relationship existing between the parties.
With the aforesaid observations WPA 849 of 2025 is disposed of.
Report so submitted be kept with the record.
Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
