Petitioner seeks bail.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was falsely implicated. His name does not transpire from the First Information Report.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State submits that there are criminal antecedents of the petitioner. There are at least 13 police cases pending against the petitioner. He submits that pursuant to the leading statement made by the petitioner, the mobile phone of the victim was recovered. The petitioner signed the seizure list.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein as transpiring from the materials available in the case diary, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (DB) 114 of 2022 is dismissed.
