It appears that the petitioner has filed an undertaking by an e-mail before the Proctor of University in terms of the order dated January 13, 2023.

It has been submitted by Mr. Jayanta Narayan Chatterjee, learned advocate appearing for the University that petitioner's rank in the merit list for Master Degree in Social Work does not permit him to take him admission in the said subject. He further submits that the petitioner is entitled to take admission in Rural Management for Master Degree on the basis of his rank in the merit list.

Mr.

Arka Maity, learned advocate for the petitioner also submits that the petitioner is willing to take admission in Rural Management for his Master Degree.

In that view of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the University to admit the petitioner to Master Degree course in Rural Management on or before January 25, 2023.

WPA 686 of 2023 is disposed of.
