The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition seeking stoppage of unauthorized construction taking place at JL No. 15, CS Khatian No. 434, RS Khatian No. 1005 and 651, LR Khatian No. 411, RS & LR Dag No. 2533 under Mouza - Natagarh.

It is the case of the petitioner that she is the owner of the land in question by way of a registered deed dated 23.3.2022. The property was duly mutated in her name by mutation certificate dated 17.05.2024. It is the allegation of the Petitioner that rampant unauthorized construction has been carried out on the said plot of land. The petitioner had lodged a complaint on 25.04.2024 before the Panihati Municipality against the unauthorised construction by the private respondents. In reference to the said complaint inspection was conducted on 10.07.2024 and a hearing was

held on 20.11.2024 in the Chamber of the Chairman of the Panihati Municipality. The petitioner alleged that since then no action has been taken and no speaking order has been passed after the conclusion of the hearing.

Learned Counsel for the respondent Municipality appears and states that they shall decide the representation and complaint of the petitioner dated 25.04.2024 by way of speaking order since the hearing has already been concluded on 20.11.2024 within a period of four weeks from date. In view the said statement, the present writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent Municipality to pass a speaking order in terms of the hearing held on 20.11.2024 within a period of four weeks.

With the above direction WPA No. 879 of 2025 is disposed of.
