Mr. Arup Kumar Bhowmick ....for the petitioner Mr. Sandip Chakraborty Mr. Sandip Kundu ....for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that there was a delay in lodging the FIR. There are case and counter case. Injuries were sustained by both sides. However, none of the injuries was grievous in nature. Some other co-accused were granted anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State strongly opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He submits that the victim received several injuries, including a fracture injury on the finger. It was the present petitioner who had inflicted the particular blow. Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order may be delivered to the learned Advocates for the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all formalities.
