The instant appeal is directed against an order dated 21.03.2017 passed by the Single Bench of this Court. The writ petition was dismissed by the impugned order.

The relevant facts of the case are that the appellant applied for distributorship under the Rajiv Gandhi Liquidified Petroleum Gas Vitrak (RGLPGV) Scheme by the petroleum company. By a letter dated 25th May, 2016 the application of the petitioner was rejected on the ground that he could not demonstrate financial eligibility of having Rs.4.00 lacs in his bank account. Even in course of field inspection on 20.07.2016, the appellant could not demonstrate sufficient financial capacity.

The petitioner/appellant relies upon a communication dated 25th July, 2016 wherein he annexed a hand written list of bank accounts with balance duly signed by him. The same according to

the petitioner/appellant shows credit balance of more than Rs.4.00 lacs in his bank account.

This Court cannot believe a hand written document unless the petitioner/appellant has produced either before the Authority or before the Single Bench or before this Court, certified statements of the concerned bank.

In those circumstances, the decision of the BPCL rejecting the petitioner/appellant's application calls for no interference. The Single Bench rightly rejected the writ petition.

The impugned order, therefore, also calls for no interference.

Accordingly, the instant appeal is dismissed. Consequently, all pending applications, if any, are also dismissed.

There will be no order as to costs.
