Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent submits that the instant CAN application was filed for expeditious disposal of the instant appeal.

The original CAN application is not placed on the record. The copy of the CAN application is received from the learned counsel for the appellant. Let it be kept on the record. It appears that the appeal is otherwise ready for hearing. Accordingly, I

think it necessary to pass an appropriate order in respect of CAN 7 of 2024.

Under the above observations, CAN 7 of 2024 kept pending with a direction that the instant appeal is to be heard out as early as possible. Let the CAN be taken up along with the appeal for hearing.

Let the matter be fixed for hearing on 3rd January, 2025.

In the meantime, the department is directed to place the LCR along with this record (Subhendu Samanta, J.)
