Petitioners are not represented in Court today. No accommodation is sought for on behalf of the petitioners. Mr. Abhisek Banerjee, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the opposite party no.2, submits that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and the matrimonial tie has already been dissolved by way of decree of mutual divorce. Furthermore, petitioners filed this revisional application for quashing Uttarpara Police Station Case No.329 of 2019 dated 02.7.2019 under Sections 498A/406 of the Indian Penal Code and the said case has already been disposed of on July 7, 2022. Accordingly, the present revisional application has become infructuous and in support of the same, opposite party no.2 has filed a case status sheet.
In view of the above, CRR 25 of 2020 is dismissed as infructuous.
The case status sheet and the copy of the order passed in connection with mutual divorce submitted by the opposite party no.2 be kept with the record.
