JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by T.S. SIVAGNANAM, C.J.)

1. We have heard the appellant appearing in person and the learned advocate for the respondents.

2. We find that the order and direction issued by the learned Single Bench is just and proper inasmuch as the respondents/Housing Development Limited has been directed to refund the amount in question along with interest @ 8%

per annum, which amount, according to the learned advocate for the respondents has been refunded in full.

3. Thus, we find no ground to interfere with the order passed by the learned Single Bench.

4. Accordingly, appeal along with the connected application (IA No. CAN 1 of 2023) stand dismissed.

5. No costs.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties expeditiously upon compliance of all legal formalities. (T.S. SIVAGNANAM) CHIEF JUSTICE I agree.
