Petitioner renews the prayer for bail.

This is the third application for grant of bail. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the there is hardly any progress subsequent to the order dated December 6, 2021 where the learned trial court was directed to expedite the charge consideration and subsequent trial. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that there is hardly any change in circumstances subsequent to the order of rejection dated December 6, 2021.

The prayer for bail was initially rejected on October 7, 2021 in CRM 6661 of 2021. It was lastly rejected on December 6, 2021 by CRM 7569 of 2021 where a direction was issued to the learned trial court to expedite the charge consideration and subsequent trial within a of period six months from the date of communication of the order.

A period of six months is yet to elapse from the order dated December 6, 2021.

There is hardly any change in circumstances subsequent to the order of last rejection dated December 6, 2021. Consequently, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. C.R.M. (DB) 119 of 2022 is dismissed.
