1. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits he is in custody for 319 days. It is also submitted he has been falsely implicated. Charge has not yet been framed. He prays for bail.

2. Learned Counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

3. We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner demanded money from the victim. When victim refused he shot at him resulting in injuries. Keeping in mind the nature of crime and possibility of petitioner indulging in similar activities if released on bail we are not inclined to grant bail to him.

4. The application for bail is, thus, rejected.

5. Trial court is directed to expedite consideration of charge and examination of vulnerable witnesses at the earliest. (Gaurang Kanth, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
