Learned advocate for the petitioners submits that the name of the respondent no.5 is required to be expunged from this petition as the said respondent has transferred the permit in favour of the respondent no.6 and now the respondent no.6 is the main respondent so far as the private respondents are concerned. Hence, the name of the respondent no.5 is expunged and the petitioners are directed to expunge the name in course of the day.

The contention of the petitioners is that his representation annexed to the writ application at page 18 (Annexure P-4) has not been considered by the Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Burdwan (Purba), the respondent no.4.

I direct the Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Burdwan (Purba), the respondent no.4 to consider this representation which is at page 18 (Annexure P-4) of the writ application within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of the order after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and also the private respondent no.6. The petitioners are directed to send a complete copy of the representation which is Annexure P-4 of the writ application to the authority along with a copy of this order.

With this direction, the matter is disposed of. (Abhijit Gangopadhyay, J. )
