In compliance with the direction dated January 16, 2025, Mr. Datta, learned Senior Government Advocate files a report of the District Inspector of Schools (P.E.), Murshidabad dated January 28, 2025, let it be kept with the record.

The petitioners are the Assistant Teachers at different schools under District Primary School Council, Murshidabad.

The petitioners are not getting 'A'

category scale of pay for not having six months Bridge Course from a recognized institution though they have B.Ed. as their training qualification.

Mr.

Maji, learned advocate for the petitioners submits that similarly placed

teachers have been given the benefit of 'A'

category scale of pay.

He prays that the issue may be relegated to the Commissioner of School Education, Government of West Bengal, the respondent no. 3 herein, for consideration.

The respondent no. 3 is directed to consider the prayer of the petitioners for 'A' category scale of pay in accordance with law and to facilitate such consideration, the petitioners are directed supply the complete copy of the writ petition to the respondent no. 3.

W.P.A. 960 of 2025 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs. Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
