Statement reflects that the opposite party no.2/ de facto complainant of the case do not intend to pursue the case being Shakespeare Sarani Police Station Case No.85 of 2023 dated 27.05.2023.

In view of the statement so recorded and the declaration which has been enclosed along with the report, I am of the view that further continuance of the proceedings of the aforesaid case is unwarranted. Accordingly, all further proceedings of Shakespeare Sarani Police Station Case No.85 of 2023 dated 27.05.2023

including the charge-sheet submitted therein which is pending before the learned CMM, Calcutta be hereby quashed. Consequently, CRR 107 of 2024 along with CRAN 1 of 2024 is allowed.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
