The petitioner has lost his admit card which was issued to him by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education in respect of TET 2012. One phase of the recruitment process is going to be held on 15th May, 2023. As the petitioner has lost his admit card, he will not be allowed to face the interview/aptitude test to be conducted by the Board. Learned advocate for the Board submits that when the petitioner has lost admit card, he should come with one duly affirmed affidavit authenticated by First Class Magistrate or any Metropolitan Magistrate with the particulars that he had one admit card which he lost in 2016 and that he is the one and same person, is also to be mentioned in the said affidavit. The petitioner has been found as an eligible

candidate for school and he has been called for the interview by the Board to be held on 15.05.2023.

Considering the balance of convenience and inconvenience, I direct the Board to allow the petitioner in the interview and aptitude test to be held on 15th May, 2023 or any other date thereafter even if he cannot come up with such an affidavit on that particular date. But unless the petitioner submits such an affidavit by 10 days thereafter, his candidature shall be treated as cancelled.

With this observation and direction this writ application is disposed of.
