Mr. Sudhansu Nath ... For the Respondent Nos.11 & 12. Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. The petitioners are aggrieved by the fact that in spite of informing the police authorities on 07.12.2024, no steps have been taken.

State has submitted a report which reflects that Airport Police Station Case No. 14/2025 dated 12.01.2025 has been registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of BNS.

The investigation of the case is in progress. The relevant notices have been issued to the statutory authorities for providing information in respect of the deeds.

Learned advocates for the respondent nos. 5 to 10 and the respondent nos. 11 and 12 are present. Learned advocates submit that another writ petition has been preferred which is pending before a coordinate Bench.

Be that as it may, the limited prayer before this Court was in respect of police not acting pursuant to the information being furnished. As the police authorities have already initiated investigation in respect of the case number referred to above, I direct the police authorities to take the investigation of the said case to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 853 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
