The only prayer of the petitioner is for a direction on the respondent no. 2 being the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Golsi-I, District-Purba Burdwan to supply the certified copy of an enquiry report dated 24th February, 2021 in connection with Case No. 4047 of 2020.

According to the petitioner, the concerned order was passed on 11th August, 2021 by the BL & LRO and the Revenue Inspector was directed to file an enquiry report.

The petitioner being aggrieved by the said order, challenged the same and filed an appeal within the statutory time period, i.e. in November, 2021. The petitioner thereafter wrote to the respondent no. 2 on

21st November, 2021 for the certified copy of the enquiry report. The said letter has not been responded to. Having considered the material on record, this Court is of the view that the petitioner should be given an opportunity to challenge the order dated 11th August, 2021 which the petitioner cannot do unless the certified copy of the enquiry report is made available to him.

WPA 660 of 2022 is accordingly disposed of with a direction on the respondent no. 2 to supply the certified copy of the enquiry report dated 24th February, 2021 in connection with Case No. 4047 of 2020 to the petitioner within three weeks from date. The petitioner shall be at liberty of approaching the office of the respondent no. 2 for quick implementation of this order. ( Moushumi Bhattacharya, J.)
