Petitioners have approached this Court because of dispute existing between the petitioners being the father-in-law and the mother-in-law against the respondent no.7 who happens to be the daughterin-law. Report submitted by the State reflects that several cases have been instituted at the behest of either of the parties wherein the police authorities have arrived at their conclusion by submitting charge-sheet.

Having considered that there is a domestic dispute which is existing, petitioners would be at liberty to approach the appropriate authorities under the provisions of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 who would consider the prayers of the petitioners in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 888 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
