The Investigating Officer of Bolpur Women Police Station is personally present in Court and has filed a report dated 28th February, 2023. The same is taken on record.
It is submitted that FIR No. 385 of 2022 dated 13th December, 2022 is being investigated by the Bolpur Police Station and not the Bolpur Women Police Station.
In view of the aforesaid submission, let the order dated 24th January, 2023 stand corrected as follow: In the second line of the second paragraph of the first page of the order dated 24th January, 2023 the expression "Bolpur Women Police Station" shall stand corrected to read as "Bolpur Police Station". In the second line of the third paragraph of the second page of the order dated 24th January, 2023 the expression
Bolpur Women Police Station" shall stand corrected to read as "Bolpur Police Station".
The Investigating Officer of the case, namely, Dali Sahu submits that investigation into the Bolpur Women Police Station Case No. 63 of 2022 dated 7th December, 2022 has been completed and charge-sheet being No. 7of 2023 dated 25th February, 2023 under Section 326B/506/509 of the Indian Penal Code has been filed against Subir Majhi.
It is ordered that the investigation into the FIR No. 385 of 2022 be completed by the Bolpur Police Station as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one month from date. Further steps may be taken by the Bolpur Police Station in this regard. The protection already given to the petitioner in the order dated 24th January, 2023 shall continue. With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.
There will be no order as to costs.
