Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the husband of the petitioner is the owner of the house in question. One room occupied by the petitioner in the ground floor of the house has been kept under lock and key by the private respondents for which the petitioner is facing extreme inconvenience.

Learned counsels for the State as well as the private respondents submit that the dispute between the parties is civil in nature.

Upon consideration of the submission made on behalf of the parties, this Court is also of the view that the dispute between the parties is civil in nature. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the appropriate civil forum for redressal of her grievance.

In the meantime, the police authority shall keep strict vigil in the area and shall ensure maintenance of

peace and tranquility. The police shall render necessary assistance to the petitioner as and when sought. The writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, allegations contained in the writ petition shall be deemed not to have been admitted.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
