Petitioner is in custody for 253 days. It is submitted there is delay in lodging FIR. He renews his prayer for bail. Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner is in his forties while the victim is in her teens. Petitioner had cohabited with the victim on the basis of false promise. In view of the aforesaid circumstances and as bail prayer has been rejected earlier, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
