The petitioner participated in the recruitment process of CAPFs. He has been found deficient in height. The measurement recorded by the authority is 169 cm.

To qualify in the examination, the candidate has to be 170 cm.

As the petitioner failed to qualify in height, accordingly, the prayer of the petitioner for directing the respondents for re-measurement cannot be allowed.

It has been laid down by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court that the measurement recorded on the date of the examination is relevant. Measurement taken on a different date is of no consequence. 5.

In view of the above, no relief can be granted to the petitioner in the instant case. The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed.
