Petitioner complains that he and his lawyer are being restrained from entering at the Office of the BL & LRO for conducting the hearing.

According to the petitioner the BL & LRO is hearing the issues pursuant to the order passed by the WBLRTT.

Be that as it may, without entering into the merits of the case the main grievance of the petitioner is for participating in the hearing before the BL & LRO, Jangipara, District Hooghly.

Report submitted by the state prima facie reflects that the date is yet to be fixed by the BL & LRO, Jangipara. In case, on the date fixed for hearing, the petitioner is restrained, the petitioner would

inform the Inspector-in-Charge, Jangipara Police Station or any authorized officer of the said police station who would ensure that the petitioner and/or his advocate can enter and conduct the hearing before the BL & LRO, Jangipara, District Hooghly. In case, cost are to be deposited, petitioner would deposit such cost.

The Inspector-in-Charge, Jangipara Police Station is directed to first assess the ground reality and thereafter take necessary steps in accordance with the directions made above.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 937 of 2025 is disposed of.
