There are materials in the case diary suggesting that the petitioners were pressurising the deceased to transfer immovable property in their name. Village mediation took place on such issue on a number of occasions.

In such circumstances, considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 149 of 2023 is dismissed.
