Counsel for the Postal Department, Mr. Mitra, appears and submits that it is at the instance of the Investigating Officer of the case that the certain deposit accounts of the writ petitioners may have been restrained for the purpose of investigation.
Orders of the learned Magistrate dated 2nd September, 2019 and 19th March, 2020 passed in G.R. Case No.3881 of 2019 arising out of Bally Police Station Case No. 97 of 2019 dated 18th August, 2019 under Sections 380/420/465/486/120B of the Indian Penal Code produced by the Counsel for the Postal Authority are placed before this Court.
In that view of the matter, the petitioners'
remedies lie before the concerned Magistrate under the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The writ petition is disposed of without any order except as indicated above.
There will be no order as to costs.
All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order on usual undertakings.
