Heard the learned Advocates for the parties.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner had absconded for almost eight years. He is a proclaimed offender. 3.

Hence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

Officer-in-charge, Englishbazar Police Station shall submit report and steps taken by him to apprehend the petitioner on the next date of hearing.
